CloverPit Comes to More Platforms This August

CloverPit is expanding to even more players with upcoming releases on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PS5, and PS4. The viral indie roguelike, developed by Panik Arcade and published by Future Friends Games, is scheduled to launch on all four platforms on August 13. The game has already been released on PC via Steam, Xbox, Game Pass, and mobile, where it has attracted more than 5 million players.

Inspired by Balatro and Buckshot Roulette, CloverPit combines roguelite progression, combo-building strategy, psychological horror, and gambling mechanics into a unique experience.

CloverPit Release Date for Nintendo Switch, PS5, and PS4

The Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PS5, and PS4 versions of CloverPit will all launch on August 13.

All newly released platform versions include the game’s post-launch updates. The Nintendo Switch 2 edition also features mouse controls and performance improvements, while the PS5 and PS4 versions include features that make use of the DualSense and DualShock controller lights.

What Is CloverPit?

CloverPit is a roguelike built around a slot machine inside a rusty prison cell. Players must use the slot machine and ATM to earn enough money to repay their debt before each deadline. Failing to meet the required amount results in defeat.

The game blends roguelite progression, combo-building strategy, escape-room-style psychological horror, and gambling-inspired mechanics. Players can experiment with more than 150 items and synergies, creating different builds across multiple runs.

Hardmode Update Included

Every new console version includes the Hardmode Update.

This update increases the challenge by doubling the deadline amount, forcing players to earn significantly more money before each round ends.

Unholy Fusion DLC Launches on August 13

The Unholy Fusion DLC will also be available for purchase on August 13 across all newly released platforms.

The expansion introduces:

  • 30 Fusion Charms
  • 11 new Base Charms
  • 7 new Memory Cards
  • A new ending
  • Additional gameplay content

For PlayStation, the available code unlocks both the base game and the Unholy Fusion DLC. For Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, DLC codes can be requested through a separate link.

The Studio Behind CloverPit

CloverPit was developed by Panik Arcade, a studio formed by the two Italian developers Matteo and Lorenzo, and published by Future Friends Games.

Before CloverPit, the studio released Yellow Taxi Goes Vroom in April 2024. The platformer has received more than 1,000 “Overwhelmingly Positive” Steam reviews with a 98% positive rating. It was also described by The Sixth Axis as “Platforming bliss.”

CloverPit has also earned praise from content creator Northernlion, who said:

“It might be GOTY and I’m not exaggerating.”

With its expansion to Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PS5, and PS4, CloverPit continues to reach new audiences while bringing its complete post-launch content, including the Hardmode Update and the Unholy Fusion DLC, to additional platforms.
